A set of updated install files for the GPE bits in Graham’s experimental
package repository for the Nokia N800. You can find them here. I wrote a few words about these packages already. Latest ones seem to be quite good.

There is one issue caused by a missing dependency left: You need to install the libmimedir-gnome1 package manually, it is not pulled in automatically.
Like always bug reports and all other kinds of feedback are very very welcome!

Thanks for your work on this! Using these packages as well as OpenSync on the PC, I’ve managed to get my N800 to sync with Evolution on the desktop, and documented the process. I’m trying to get the link and information out there, since when I went to try it, there was very little information on the GPE sync easily accessible on Google, and even less with N800 or 770 in its name. I’ve also documented a few issues – they are either in GPE or OpenSync: I’m trying to figure out where so I can file a good bug and get them resolved. http://cleardefinition.com/page/Sync_Evolution_and_GPE_on_N800/
